Malwina Qvist has been working in the energy sector for over seven years, specialising in low-carbon technologies and their performance in the energy system.

Malwina is a recent addition to the Cornwall Insight consulting team. Before joining the team, she was a Senior Energy Engineer at BEIS, where she worked on advising ministers and policy makers on delivering Net Zero. She has worked across a variety of policy strands such as: Contracts for Difference, Capacity Market, Levy Control Framework, Energy Entrepreneur Fund, nuclear R&D (SMR competition, AMR competition), new nuclear projects and more. Her most recent work was designing a competition for greenhouse gas removal technologies.
