Sandy is an Analyst and Modeller at Cornwall Insight’s Australia Office, with over 10 years of experience in data analysis and analytics. Before beginning at Cornwall Insight, Sandra was an analyst/consultant in the Energy Markets area. She has also completed a Master of Business Administration at Melbourne Business School. Her main areas of expertise include feasibility studies int energy storage projects and distributed energy resources and understanding the key economic benefits of such systems for both Government and private sectors.

Key projects and experience: Evaluation and forecasting of revenue streams for battery and pumped hydro storage systems including both energy and FCAS markets, development of storage system revenue optimization models, revenue forecasting for renewable generators, projection of FCAS causer pays costs and projections of small-scale distributed energy resource technologies. Projects were in general to inform investors of decisions, supporting due diligence asset transactions and to assist with government subsidy programs.

Sandy’s consulting experience has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the electricity energy and FCAS markets.  Together with her analytical background, she is experienced at generating insights from data and developing actionable and practicable recommendations for clients allows them to make better decisions and deliver more efficient outcomes.
