Renewable Energy Magazine | Latest paper from Cornwall Insight discusses the future of wind in Australian versus Great British energy markets

Our latest insight paper – Wind in the Australian and Great British energy markets – featured in Renewable Energy Magazine.

The paper examines whether the outlook for wind in both the Australian and Great British (GB) markets is being shaped by market design and infrastructure.

Discussing winds role in both markets Gareth Miller said that wind would have different roles to play in the future of both the Australian and GB energy markets, with GB likely to see a much greater expansion of its already extensive wind capacity base.

The common themes that link the two countries are significant growth in wind capacity and output, and the challenges and opportunities this creates in terms of integration with markets originally designed around centrally connected, thermal power stations.
